Yvonne Ingrid Trombitas Walton, 53, of 210 Harris Pointe, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, February 10 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Walton was born April 5, 1957 in Mannedorf, Switzerland. She was a former employee of Lowe's Food. Surviving is her daughter, Stephanie Adams and husband, Dennie of Gladehill, VA; granddaughter, Emilee Adams; son, Stephen Kelly of Fuquay Varina; mother, Ildiko Trombitas of Cary; sisters, Susan Trombitas and Agi Trombitas; niece, Erika Christiana; and two nephews, Alex and Adam Christiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Istvan Stephen Trombitas. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home. I'm so sorry about your mom. She was one of the first people I met when we moved into the building. We became great friends she was more like a sister to me. I loved her dearly if you need anything you have my number. I will miss her. you will be in my prayers.

I live in the same apartment building that Yvonne lived in. I moved here back in July, but it didn't take long before we began a friendship. She talked to me alot about some of her family, and I believe I met her daughter with the granddaughter once or twice in passing. It was so cute how when her phone rang it was her sweet granddaughter's voice. Your whole family will be in my prayers and wishing you strength and healing. Many people will miss her but keep her memories alive.

I have very fond memories of YVONNE. She made lots of Friends at Harris Pointe Apartments here in Eden. Time and time again she would tell me "thanks for everything". I tried to lend an ear whenever she needed to vent! Her determination to make the best of her health issues was an inspiration to all her Friends! She made me a Baby Grand Piano with Bench (chocolate) for Christmas (I have photos). Love and Prayers to Youall!
