Miss Anne Scales taught me in the sixth grade at the one-room Figsboro school in 1941-42. This was her first year of teaching. She was a wonderful teacher, one of the best I ever had. My brother and I visited her and Mr. Sims several years ago and very much enjoyed our visit with them. Best wishes to her family.
