Clay Kimball, 74, fomerly of Eden, and more recently of Browns Summit, passed away November 8, 2009 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 19, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Mr. Kimball was born February 22, 1935 in Rockingham County, son of the late Buncie Jackson Chandler. He was a retiree of Cone Mills. Surviving are his two nephews, Eric Chandler of South Carolina, and Jason Chandler of Alaska, both serving in the US miliatary. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Chandler. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
