Buddy was one of the finest gentlemen I've ever met. He had a true love of family, friends and serving our community as a dedicated Police Officer. I had the pleasure of working with him for a short time and he was devoted to his job. I also counted him as a friend. My prayers are with each of you as you go through this sad time and in days to come. Heaven has gained another Angel.

So sorry for the loss of Buddy. I worked at the city. When i went to work there, he was one of the first police officers to make me feel welcomed to work there. When he would come to public works for gss, he always came and said hello to me.

My Love and Deepest Sympathy to Moretz family, friends and FOP Lodge 5. I had opportunity to travel with Buddy on some FOP trips, and we got to know each other better. He loved the Lord and shared that with me in our conversations. He was a great leader in the Fraternal Order of Police and he loved his brothers and sisters in law enforcement. Love you brother and I will see you again. Gods Comfort and Strength, NCFOP State Chaplain
