Garland Jack Lee, 66, of 706 Church Street in Eden, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.

There will be no formal service.

Mr. Lee was born November 5, 1953 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Norman Pinky Lee, Sr. and Doris Robertson Lee. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1971 and a US Navy veteran. Jack received his degree in accounting while in the Navy. He was a former employee of Dyer’s Sheet Metal.

He is survived by his wife, Orena Ferguson Lee, of the home; daughters, Kari Ann Lee and Karen Jill Lee; three grandchildren, Jack Benny Yow, IV, Alyssa Lee and Ivy Lee Tatum; sister, Jill Lee Owen; niece, Caitlin Carter; and nephews James Glenn Owen and wife, Karen, Joseph Russell Owen and Jordan Robert Lee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman “Pete” Lee, Jr. and Robert E. Lee.
