Arthur Grant Sawyer, Jr. age 63 of 345 E. Harris Place Apt. 217, Eden passed away on Thursday morning January 13, 2011 at Morehead Nursing Center. Mr. Sawyer's was a retired U.S. Army Veteran with 20 years of service and served in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife; Lois Mayo Sawyer, sons; Mike Sawyer of Templeton, Pa. , Gary Sawyer of Reidsville,NC, and Arthur Sawyer III of Elmira N. Y. , daughter; Tracey Sawyer Tobbe of Athens, Pa., granddaughter; Felisity Sawyer , grandsons; John Garth, Bryan Sawyer and Douglas Tobbe, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur G. Sawyer Sr. and Alice Monroe Sawyer, 1 sister and 6 brothers. A memorial service will be held at a later date. My wife and I want to express to the family of Mr.Arthur Grant Sawyer Jr. our deepest condolences for loss of your loved one. The loss of Arthur brings much pain and sorrow to your family. Jesus state at John 11:25 "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me even though he dies will live". This is George's future hope.
