Katheryn, Debbie and Family. I wish to send my deepest sympathy and regrets for such an early departure of David. As a youth, we had many Great moments together on and off the field, school, and our second home "The-Y". My last meetings with David, some 25 years ago i had hit a patch of ice and went off the road in Stone ville. There was no one and i mean no one out and about. David was coming home from work that day. He pulled over, and much to our surprise we were overwhelmed to have seen each other after some distance and years. Of course David being David, asked if i was OK.As normal he was in his Truck, had a chain, and pulled me out of the ditch. I remember distinctly he followed me home as i was in a Sedan type vehicle. But that was just David caring, happy and always smiling in a pro-active way. I have this as one of many wonderful memories of my good friend and teammate. Rest now in no more pain and suffering David. In sincere respect,Love you my friend! William Ken Kittrell

I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. He was a great guy and a lot of fun as we were growing up. I have very fond memories of him, Brian and Chuck coming to our place at Ocean Lakes. The place was so small back then but we made room for everyone to sleep by rolled out mattresses and even slept under the kitchen table. He always had a smile on his face and was a joy to me and my family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lou Hill

For about 8 years, there was about 12 of us that were inseperable. Of course, David was right in the middle. We all had some really great times, and now we have some really great memories. Even after we all grew up and went our seperate ways, we will still managed to keep in touch one way or another...Now we all know David is in a better place now and not suffering. And eventually, we will all see him again. RIP David and remember we all love you!
