Marty Faye Davidson, 52, of 534 Jarrell Road, passed away Tuesday evening, December 14, 2010 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 17, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Miss Davidson was born April 23, 1958 in Martinsville, VA, daughter of the late James Woody Davidson and Blondan Wheeler Davidson Hopkins. She was formerly employed by Kobe Copper. Surviving is her long-time companion, Dale Vernon of the home; brother, James "Randy" Davidson and wife, Rhonda of Martinsville, VA; sisters Lynn Pulliam of Eden and Margie Mills of Smith Mountain Lake; numerous nephews and one niece; a special great-niece, Kirsten Michelle Hudson and several other great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Davidson Turner and Jean Davidson. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, 12:30 pm to 2 pm at Fair Funeral Home. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.fairfuneralhome.com
