Betty Lou Price Adkins, 78, of 340 Piney Forest Road in Danville, VA, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Reidsville, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, March 21, at Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden, NC.

Ms. Adkins was born June 30, 1940 in Henry County, VA, to the late Jesse Lawrence Price and Hazel Dean Price.  She was a retiree of Goodyear Tire Company.  Betty was a member of the Hearts of Gold Therapy Dogs of Virginia and loved to take her own dogs to hospitals and nursing homes to visit patients and residents.  She also enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson.

She is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Dawn Campbell and husband, Joe of South Boston, VA;  two sons, Jeffrey Dean Quesinberry and wife, Jenny of Eden, NC and Anthony Kevin Adkins of Danville, VA;  four grandchildren, Joshua, Dustin, Cecil and Justin;  sisters, Nadine Lawson, Ellie Harbour, Loretta Manuel and Abbie Young, all of Ridgeway, VA ;  and three brothers, Brenton Price and Billy Price, both of Ridgeway, VA, and Morris Price of Henry, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Vivian Fulcher, Mae Hawks and Joan Wren Price;  and brothers, Arlin, Lawrence, Jimmy and Nolan Price.
