Jerry Lee Massey, age 69 of 26 Bridgewood Dr. Ridgeway, Va. passed away on Saturday January 12, 2019 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville.

A graveside service will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Mt. View Cemetery.  The family will have a visitation on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 Pm at Fair Funeral Home in Eden and other times at 695 Farmbrook Road, Ridgeway, VA.

Mr. Massey was born August 16, 1949 in the Leaksville section of Eden to the late Everette and Dovie Roberts Massey. He was employed by Local 421 as a Pipe Fitter and Welder.  Jerry enjoyed in his spare time CB Radio, hunting and fishing, working on motorcycle's and his Mustang. 

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Massey  and his grandparents, Charlie and Kate Roberts.

Surviving are wife Doris Lawson Massey of the home; son, Mark Anthony Massey and wife Amy of Stoneville; daughter, Lisa Massey Jones and husband Jeremy of Eden and daughter, Billie Jean Massey of the home; brothers, Jimmy Massey and wife Frances of Eden and Charlie Massey and wife Tammy of Stoneville, sister, Gracie M. Clark and husband Junior of Bassett, VA; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
