Riley Taylor Corum, Sr., age 70 of 381 Riverside Circle, Eden passed away on Saturday morning at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Monday November 1, 2010 at Dan River Wesleyan Church with burial to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Riley was born January 24, 1940 in Rockingham County to the late Thomas and Mattie Oakley Corum. He was a member of Dan River Wesleyan Church and retired from Corum Heating and Air. He was preceded in death along with his parents, a brother; Hubert Corum Surviving him is wife; Carol Cox Corum of the home, sons; Riley T. "Butch" Corum and wife Penny of Stoneville, Randy T. Corum of Eden, brother; Ralph Corum of Eden, sisters Geneva Barnes, Regina Wilmouth, & Judy Corum of Eden, Faye Woodard of Columbia, SC and Linda Joyner of Reidsville, grandsons; Joey, Ryan, Brandon,Patrick and granddaughter; Kalyn The Corum family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7-9 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister, Geneva Barnes, 11853 NC 87 South. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fairfuneralhome.com
