Druie "Junior" Harbour, age 85 of 724 Bryant Street, Eden passed away on Saturday evening October 16, 2010 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Graveside service will be held 1 pm Tuesday at Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway, Va. with visitation to follow the service. Junior was born November 12, 1924 in Rockingham County to the late Druie Thomas and Addie Young Harbour. He was of the Baptist faith and was a WWII U.S. Marine veteran. Junior retired from West Window Company in Martinsville, Va. He was preceded in death along with his parents, one brother; Billy "Jack" Harbour. Surviving his memory is his wife; Vivian Turner Harbour of the home, nephews; Michael and Anthony Harbour and 2 great nephews. The family will receive friends following the graveside service, but Junior will lie in state at Fair Funeral Home on Monday afternoon and evening for anyone that may want to pay their respects. I am very sad to learn about Junior's passing. I have many good memories of working with Junior at West Window...I always looked up to him and considered him one of my role models when it came to developing my own work ethic. He was a good man and a good friend. My sincere condolences to the family.
