Mrs. Kidd, Just want to let you know you are in my prayers. I knew Lewis when we went to school together at Drewry Mason. We rode the bus together also.We had alot of fun them. He knew how to make you laugh. He also came in the Rock House just about everyday day to get a sausage biscuit or a bacon, egg biscuit. He will truly be missed by all of us at the Rock House. We hate to loose such a good man, but we know he is not suffering anymore and he is with another great man your husband and his father who was also a great man. We miss him alot at the Rock House also. They both are wonderful angels now watching over you. They will still take care of you.May God be with you and your family as Lewis will be missed. May God keep you and Bless you always. A friend always. Joyce

I MET LEWIS IN 1979 WHEN I WORKED AT THE OLD BYRD'S STORE. HE IS REALLY GOING TO BE MISSED. HE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE AND HE NEVER MET A STRANGER. HE WOULD MAKE YOU LAUGH WHEN YOU WERE HAVING A BAD DAY. HE WATCHED MY KIDS GROW UP OVER THE YEARS AND EVEN TRIED TO HELP MY OLDEST SON WHEN HE WAS TRING TO GO ON AT VDOT. MY SON JUST WASN'T OLD ENOUGH AT THE TIME. LEWIS NEVER FORGOT A PERSON'S FACE OVER THE YEARS. MY YOUNGEST SON WENT INTO THE ARMY RIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL IN 2003, EVERYTIME LEWIS WOULD SEE ME HE ALWAYS ASK ABOUT HOW MY SON WAS DOING? LEWIS AND HIS FATHER WERE BOTH GREAT MEN, WHO WOULD DO ANYTHING TO HELP A PERSON IN NEED. THEY ARE WATCHING OVER YOU AND ALWAYS WILL. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS YOU MRS. LEWIS, I KNOW THIS YEAR HAS BEEN VERY HARD FOR YOU.

Dear Mrs. Kidd and family I had the pleasure of attending and graduating with Lewis from Drewry Mason-Class of 1970. I remember Lewis well as a quiet, well mannered ,pleasureable young man who had a smile and nice interactions with all of the students and teachers. You may take great pride in the way he was raised. May the thoughts, prayers and sympathy of all who knew the Kidd family and Lewis provide and find comfort in the days ahead. Prayers for you Mrs. Kidd for the future. Sincerly.
