Patricia Gail Cassell, 63, formerly of 53 Poplar St. Ridgeway, VA passed away early Saturday morning, August 7, 2010 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. The funeral service will be Tuesday August 10th, 4pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens. Patricia Cassell was born April 27, 1947 in Henry County, VA to the late Bani Arieal and Christine Altice Craddock. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church, and worked at Blue Ridge Tobacco with a position in retail management. Mrs. Cassell is survived by her husband, Paul F. Cassell, her dauhgter Julia Tart and a grandson Paul Joshua Tart both of Eden, three sisters Sylvia Craddock Brenda Simpson and Diane Smith all of Eden, three neices and four nephews. She was also survived by her faithful companion Beeson. She was preceded in death by her brother Sonny Craddock. Visitation will be held Monday evening 6 until 8pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 53 Poplar St. Ridgeway, VA

Julia and Josh - Patricia was one of the strongest, hard willed woman i have ever met. She and I used to joke with each other about whose head was harder.... hers or mine. I loved working with her.
