Margaret Vivian Mills, 91, of 215 Bryant Street, went to be with her Lord on Monday evening, January 4, 2010 her home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Central Christian Church on E. Stadium Drive. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Miss Mills was born July 31, 1918 in Spray, NC (now Eden), daughter of the late Oscar Walter and Susan Evelyn Parker Mills. She was a lifelong and devoted member of Central Christian Church and a graduate of Leaksville High School. She served as a volunteer for Morehead Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. Miss Mills was a retiree of Dupont, Inc. in Martinsville, VA. Surviving is her sister, Mary "Teny" Christine Mills Kingsbury; great-nephew, Chris Ramsey of Eden; and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Oscar and Sherman Mills. There will be no formal visitation but friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday evening, however, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Central Christian Church. At other times the family will meet at the home of her nephew, 215 Bryant Street in Eden. Memorial donations may be made to Central Christian Church, Flower Fund, 233 E.
