Linda Faye Dyson Cox, 58, of 1013 Willow Street, passed away early Friday morning, July 30, 2010 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held 2 pm on Monday, August 2, 2010 at Overlook Cemetery. Mrs. Cox was born June 14, 1952 in Eden, daughter of the late R. C. and Helen Mozelle Moore Dyson. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Surviving is her husband, Arthur C. Cox, Jr. of the home; sons, Darrell Cox and wife, Jennifer of Coldwater, Michigan, and Dennis Cox of Eden; daughters, Teresa Martin and husband, Todd of Reidsville, and Paula Pulliam of Ridgeway, VA; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Dyson of Eden; and sister, Brenda Hogan, also of Eden; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Carolyn Shelton, Geraldine Jones, and Dianne Hundley. The family will receive friends Sunday evening 7 - 9 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Online condolences may be offered to the Cox family at www.fairfuneralhome.com

To the Cox family, Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. I can remember Big Tommy and Art working at Mize motors and Linda just right downt he street keep her children. We would often see her at Geraldine's in the summer and other special times. Darrell we are so sorry about your mom, I just lost my mom to cancer 8 months ago, it is still hard to believe shes gone and we miss her something awful. I feel your pain. We are praying God will give you peace and comfort during your days ahead. God bless you Donna and Maynard Smith
