Duane & Family and Sammy & Pat: We are very sad to learn of Aunt Frances' passing on Sunday and send our heartfelt and deepest sympathy to you. I am so very glad that Dad and I visited her a few years ago and that we had the opportunity to see you all too. It brought back a lot of wonderful memories of the times we spent sitting on Granny & Pop-Pop's big southern front porch on those warm summer days in July; day trips to the Philpot Dam; go-cart racing around Granny & Pop-Pop's yard; BBQ's at Dick's Drive-In and Sealtest; and all the down home fun we had when all the sisters/brothers visited at the same time. Your Mother (and Father too) will always hold a very special place in my heart. I'm sorry we all can't be there to help comfort you during this difficult time but please know we are with you in thought and prayer and send our love across the miles. Love, Debbie (Martin) Norman and Amanda Norman

How many kool-aid popcicles did she provide for us? How many cookies? How many times did she tell us to be careful in the cherry tree when she really meant for us to climb down and stay down? Handing out batteries when our flashlights were dark just when nighttime hide & seek started. Such fun we had in your back yard that seemed really huge! Mrs. Rhodes will be missed in many ways by so many people. She was a great part of making my childhood fun and safe. We all are crying tears with you. Susan
