Hazeltine Turner Fowler, 59, of 127 Halifax Drive in Collinsville, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, July 4, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery. Ms. Fowler was born August 14, 1950 in Henry County, VA, daughter of the late Steven Louis and Mallie Alley Turner. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Ms. Fowler was formerly employed with Fresinius Dialysis Center. Surviving are her three sons, Wayne Fowler of Seattle, WA, Steven Fowler and wife, Kimberly of Reidsville, and Chris Fowler of Collinsville, VA; five grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Elaina, Skyler, and Luke Fowler; brother, Paul Turner of Eden; and five sisters, Peggy Wright and husband, Jerry of Collinsville, VA, Lorraine Smith and husband, Donald of Clover, VA, Mary Stevens and husband, Eddy of Nathalie, VA, Louise Purdy of Bassett, VA, and Pauline Carter of Eden; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Eunice Newnam. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, Wayne Fowler, Sr. The family would like to express special thanks to her niece, April Turner Fail, of Reidsville, for all her help during a very difficult time. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 183 Lake Walk Drive in Reidsville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202. Wayne, Steven and Chris, I have you in my prayes during this difficult time. Your Mom was a very special person and I know you will miss her greatly.
