Mildred Craddock Moore, 87, formerly of 613 Franklin Drive, passed away Thursday morning, July 1, 2010 at Brian Center in Eden. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 3, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Moore was born June 25, 1923 in Leaksville, NC, daughter of the late Martin Luther and Minnie Sams Craddock. She was a member of Merriman Street Wesleyan Church and a former member of the Fireman's Auxiliary. Mrs. Moore was a 1978 retiree of Fieldcrest Blanket Finishing Mill after 30 years of service. Surviving is her husband, John Moore; daughter, Rhonda Barnhill and husband, Curtis; two sons, Barry Moore and wife, Sandra and Marty Moore and wife, Terry, all of Eden; six grandchildren, Josh Kalill, Bryan Barnes, Tonya Barnes, Justin Moore, Adam Moore, and Macy Moore; four great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Arlene Craddock of Rocky Point, NC; and brother, Charles Emerson Craddock of Marshall, Missouri. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Morehead Memorial Hospital and the Brian Center for their care and support. Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Franklin Drive.
