Elizabeth Combs Wade, 75, of 320 Loblolly Drive in Cascade, VA, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden, NC. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 28, at Central Baptist Church on Meadow Road in Eden. Mrs. Wade was born August 30, 1934 in Draper, NC, daughter of the late Jasper and Polly Denny Combs. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Draper and was a retired sales clerk with Tultex Store. Surviving is her son, Michael L. Wade and wife, Barbara of the home; one grandchild, Melissa Wade; great-granddaughter, Autumn Chitwood; and brother, Alfred Combs of Eden.
