Betty Ellis Huff, age 81 of 504 Fisher Hill Road, Eden passed away on Friday afternoon April 30th at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Graveside services will be held 2 pm on Monday at Overlook Cemetery. Betty was born June 20, 1928 in Draper to the late Ray and Dessie McBride Ellis. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and was retired from Fieldcrest Mills. Surviving are sons; Michael "Squeaky" Huff , Lynn Huff and wife Nina , sister; Patsy Thomas and husband Donnie, granddaughters; Blair Huff and Bailey Wyatt, grandsons; Joe and Danny Wyatt all of Eden. She was preceded in death along with her parents, her husband; Howard Huff and brothers; Ray , Edward and Jimmy Ellis. Visitation will be held on Sunday 6-8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home. I know that we were blessed and so happy to have an "Aunt Betty" who was always smiling and loving with all her kin' folk.Growing up in our time she would also give you that guidance we all needed, and is missed today that true family love.
