To The Porter Family: I wish to express my sincere condolence for the loss of your dear love one. Words cannot express the pain and sorrow that you feel. However, please find comfort in God's promise found in the Bible at John chapter 5, verses 28&29. it reads: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a rsurrection of life." You are in prayers.

To: John and your family. We were very sorry to learn about your Mother this morning. Know that it has been a long road for you all but now at least you know that she is at peace and no longer suffering. Unfortunately we will be away and will not be able to attend the services on Sunday. Aunt Ruth was my great aunt, sister to my Granny Farley (Mary Farley). She was the kindest, gentlest person. Yet, she was also one of the smartest persons I ever knew. I loved her very much. Far more than she probably ever knew. I will miss her every day of my life. Her life and her living were a great example to me. Her children were my favorite cousins and people I loved dearly. They were also some of the most kind and gentlest people I knew. My heart is with them right now. Love, A. Claire Farley

I am so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. Not only did I have her for a teacher, but I was also able to work with her at Holmes Junior High as a teacher. She was a dear lady. She will always be remembered by my son, George, who cherished a baby blanket Ruth made for him when he died. Our prayers are with your family. Annie Joe Ivie Ragsdale
