William "Penny" Penn Brannock, Jr., 59, of Lincoln Street in Eden, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Mr. Brannock was retired from the City of Eden.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Cressman Brannock; and daughter Billy Jo Kennon.

It breaks my heart to know that you have gone on but I know you are with Granny , Mama , Billie Jo and Shya... I'm sure you are telling Granny about Keely Bug and the twins... You were one of my father figures and you will be deeply missed .. I was so sorry to see that Penny had passed this morning. We both worked at the Eden Recreation Dept. My thoughts and prayers are with the family especially for the entire family with loss earlier of Penny's sister. Such a sad time for the family.
