Bettie McBride, 75, of 502 Moir Street in Eden, passed away early Thursday morning, July 25, 2013, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 27, at North Spray Christian Church. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery.

A native of Rockingham County, Mrs. McBride was born November 16, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Woody and Leo Belton McBride. Mrs. McBride was a member of North Spray Christian Church and was the owner and operator of McBride Concessions.

She is survived by her daughter, Bess Brinkley and husband, Bob, of Walnut Cove as well as many dearly loved cousins, friends and A.A. family.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, 7 - 9 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Memorial contributions may be made to North Spray Christian Church, 521 Washburn Avenue, Eden, NC 27288.
