Larry Ronald Stowe, Sr., 71, formerly of 552 Easley Rd., Eden, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday evening July 3, 2013 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held Monday July 8, 2013 2pm at Fair Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Larry was born in Rockingham County November 29, 1941 to the late Tony E. Stowe and Berta B. Stowe. He was an auto mechanic until being disabled, working at many of the local service stations in his area.
Surviving are his two sons, Larry R. Stowe, Jr. and wife Arletta of Eden, Frankie L. Stowe and wife Tanya of Stoneville, NC; two brothers Garland Stowe of Jacob Creek, and Donnie Stowe and wife Barbara of Greensboro, NC; two sisters Arlene Stowe, and Arletta Pyron and husband George of Stoneville, NC; five grandchildren, Wesley Stowe, William Stowe, Wayne Stowe, Frankie Stowe, Jr. and Jason Stowe, and one great grandchild Lilly Stowe. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Stowe and Sherman Stowe.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6 until 8pm at Fair Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Larry Stowe, Jr. 303 Howe St. Eden, NC.
