Dear Lofton family, I was just reading the obituaries and saw David Lee Lofton born in Albany and realized we have a connection. Joe Lofton, Lee's father, was my grandfather by marriage to Madge Holland Lofton. I loved Lee's father deeply as he shared so much love with me. I imagine Lee was as kind and loving as his father and perhaps enjoyed music as well. I am sad to not have known that his son Lee lived near by as i live in Greensboro. All my love and prayers to you all and I hope we will meet one day.
