Our sincere condolences to Mrs. Bowers family on Jo’s passing. She was such a precious lady, always with a smile and quick wit. We so enjoyed visiting with her when we visited with Paul’s sister Geneva Biggs while they were “roomies”. Jo touched many lives with her positive outlook and will certainly be missed. She has now ‘gone Home’ and to a well deserved rest.

To Mama Jo's sweet family: My family and I were so blessed to have known Mama Jo. She brightened our days and helped us to appreciate the little things in life and to realize what is important. Mama Jo was the best room mate Mom could have ever had (God knew Mom needed Mama Jo; we all did). Their friendship was genuine and they were a blessing to each other. I'm glad Mom is spending time (forever) with her. Thank you all for accepting us into your lives and loving us just like family. We certainly will always cherish the wonderful memories we had with Mama Jo. The laughter we will never forget and we sure did laugh a whole lot to make the best of a hard situation. We may have gotten into a "little" mischief from time to time !! The impact of Mama Jo's life will be forever with us and we are eternally grateful to have known her. We look forward to seeing her again, and just think, she will be walking (probably running)! We love all of you and plan to keep in touch. You are in our thoughts and prayers now and in the days ahead. We know you will miss her so much. It is so wonderful to have the promise of heaven!
