Ruby Dabbs Fisher, 82, passed away at the Gibson House (Rockingham County Hospice) on July 6, 2021.

A Memorial Service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery on Wednesday, July 21 at 11:00 am.

Mrs. Fisher was born February 28, 1939 to the late Floyd Adam Dabbs and Mary Weadon Dabbs in Rockingham County.  She was a weaver at the Fieldcrest Mills in Eden, NC.  Ruby was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy D. Gallaher (Joe), brother in law “Bill” Byrd, niece Jennifer Chandler, and her nephew Chuck Gallaher.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Boyd L. Fisher and her two sisters; Ruth D. Byrd and Sallie D. Blalock; one brother Floyd E. Dabbs

Ruby will be missed by us all. She always had a smile for everyone. Sad for her family to lose her and Ruth so close together. Her hope of life on a Paradise earth will soon be a reality.
