Virginia Chaney Woodall, 94, passed away Friday morning, June 11, 2021, at UNC-Rockingham Rehab & Nursing Care Center in Eden.

Per Mrs. Woodall’s request, a graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 14th, at Danview Cemetery.

Born January 11, 1927 in Spray, NC, Virginia was the daughter of the late Thomas Benton Chaney and Cora Smith Chaney.  She was a graduate of Wentworth High School and a retiree of Vanier Graphics.

She is survived by her two children, Tommy Woodall and his sister, Vicki Woodall Dunn; three grandchildren, Shane Woodall (Janet), Natasha Stepps (David) and Jarman Thacker; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. “Buck” Woodall, Jr.; daughter, Janice Swinney; three sisters and one brother.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 or to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Headquarters, 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL  33309-2132
