Anne Shreve, 68, passed away Thursday morning, June 10, 2021, at Brian Center in Yanceyville.

A gathering will be held on Saturday evening, June 12th, from 5 - 7 PM at Companion Church, 6871 Irisburg Road in Axton, VA/

Born October 26, 1952 in Rockingham County, NC, Anne was the daughter of the late Lawson John Brown and Gracie Virginia Rhodes Brown. She was previously employed by Cone Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Hodges of Reidsville; son, Anthony Tyler Shreve (Nikki) of Martinsville, VA; five grandchildren, Jessica, Casey (Jacki), Aaron, Andrew and Levi; and two great-grandchildren, Miley and Raylen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Shreve; granddaughter, Samantha Ann Knight; and brother, Thomas Lee Brown.

I am so sorry to hear of Anne’d passing . We attended school together and were childhood friends. We reconnected on FB several years ago and chatted often. My deepest sympathy to her son and daughter whom she was so proud of and her grandchildren. Rest well, Anne.
