David,Tony,John,Joel I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a special person. I will always be thankful that our childhoods intersected on Ohio Street. I have such good memories of your Dad and grandparents. All of you enriched my growing up experience. I wish I could be there in person to pay my respects to your Dad and see you all but I have a scheduling conflict. Do know that I will keep you and your families in my thoughts and prayers especially today. Peace to you. Chuck

Dear Maci and family, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your grandfather. From all the stories you can tell not only was he an extremely intelligent man but an adventurous one as well. I'm sure you will have many stories to pass down to the girls that they will enjoy. You know there's really no relationship quite like the one between a grandfather and his grand-daughter. I pray for God to heal your heart during the difficult journey ahead of you and that you can find comfort knowing the Promise of Heaven means we will be with our loved ones again and this time it will be for eternity. Sending prayers and love to everyone.

I met Dave and Mary when visiting my uncle in Crystal River in 80's & 90's. My uncle was Ross Hutchison, he passed away in '97.
During the years of CR visits many  of Ross' acquaintance would say "hello" . Only special ones got introduced and would spend time or break bread. Dave and Mary were a couple in the spend time category, very appreciated. My uncle was a loner and a rugged but respectable individual. To some an acquired taste. I'm glad Dave and Ross were friends, surely old pals  still joke around in heaven.
"Dave & Mary , if you grow more okra, we'll need a bigger picnic table". Could Dave be among the fellas that helped build a picnic table too big for 4 men to move ? Ross always came home with bags full of fresh from garden produce.  Full disclosure , they knew it was reclaimed cypress when it floated on the property and built the table.
My condolences for your loss. The arms of a loving God give Dave rest & the family memories to comfort.
Ann Hutchison.
PS... an ice storm and power outage got me on paper again. Update address book to electronic. A gas fireplace and well charged battery got me here. Late.  Stay safe and healthy🕊
