Jamie Durham, 85, passed away Tuesday morning, February 9, 2021, at UNC-Rockingham Health Care in Eden.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, February 14, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  He will lie in repose on Saturday from 12 Noon to 6 PM at Fair Funeral Home.

Born January 17, 1936 in Sandy Ridge, NC, Jamie was the son of the late Marion Durham and Ruby Gann Durham. He was a retiree of E.I DuPont, Inc.  A member of Osborne Baptist Church, he was a former Deacon and Sunday school teacher.  He enjoyed doing wood crafts and carpentry and raising his miniature schnauzers, Max and Jake.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Durham (Kathy) of Summerfield; daughter, Debbie Robinette (Gary) of Eden; three grandchildren, Matt Robinette (Lindsay) of Greensboro, Bryce Durham of Reidsville and Evan Durham of Greensboro; and his brother, Curtis Durham of Ridgeway, VA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Vernon Durham; five brothers, Harvey, Ralph, Harold, Bob and Brownie Durham; and sister, Sharon “Sissy” Durham.
