James Thomas “J.T.” West, age 69 of 998 Burton Street Eden passed away on Sunday November 1, 2020 at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

A Funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday November 3rd 2020 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with visitaion one hour prior to the service. The service will live streamed on Fair Funeral Home Facebook page. The family will meet at other times at the home.

J.T. was born May 23, 1951 in Leaksville, NC to the late Ernest and Mattie Thacker West. He was a referee for the Boys and Girls Club in Eden.

Surviving are wife Teresa Fulton West of the home; son, Michael West of Eden and daughter, Melissa West Edmond and Jeremy of Pageland, SC.; Brothers Jerry West (JoAnn) and Danny West; sister-in-law, Anne West of Reidsville; Grandchildren, Katie West, Matthew West, Braydon West, Brandon Edmond, Caden Edmond, Ashton Edmond; Great-Grandchildren, Carter West, Greyson and Mollie Hunt; Adopted daughter, Tina West,numerous nieces and nephews, and his fur baby scooter. He was preceded in death along with his parents by brother, Wayne West; sister Louise W. Strader and very special aunt, Annie Wilson.
