Carl Odell Robertson, 80, of Stoneville, passed away Monday morning, October 5, 2020, at Cone Green Valley Hospital in Greensboro.

 

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 9, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  He will lie in repose on Wednesday from 12 Noon to 6 pm for those that wish to come by to pay their respects.

 

Born April 14, 1940 in Caswell County, NC, Carl was the son of the late Rosco Rufus Robertson and Lucy Turner Robertson Weadon.  He was a member of Floyd Baptist Church and was a retired carpenter.

 

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Cannon Robertson; three children, Danny Cannon (Pat) of Eden, Kim Garrett (Randall) and Penny Walton (David), both of Stoneville; four grandchildren, Brittany Robertson, Emberly Smith, Dustin Carter and Austin Carter; five great-grandchildren, Carly Mabe, Jacob Kendrick, Kevin Bray, McKinzley Bray, and Norah Smith; sister, Ada Shrewsberry of Stoneville; and his little canine companion, “Rambo”.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Clay and Clyde Robertson.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Floyd Baptist Church, 3652 Price Road, Eden, NC 27288.
