Roxie Joyce Roberts, 87, passed away early Monday morning, August 24, 2020, at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, August 27, at Overlook Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts will lie-in-state all day Wednesday for anyone wanting to come by Fair Funeral Home to pay their respects and sign the register book.

Born November 2, 1932 in Price, NC, Roxie was the daughter of the late Jesse Joyce and Maggie Gunter Joyce. She was a charter member of El Bethel Presbyterian Church and was a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills.

She is survived by her daughter, Pat Hall (Walter) of Reidsville and Ann Young of Greensboro; son, Tim Roberts (Lori) of Eden; three grandchildren, Jessica Jones (Randy) of Eden, Jeff Roberts of Greensboro, and James Hall (Virginia) of Eden; and one great-grandchild, Remington Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew “Mack” Roberts; a sister; and five brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to El Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2515 Price Road, Eden, NC 27288.
