My deepest sympathy on Penny's passing. I remember her as a beautiful little girl who laughed and enjoyed her life as she loved to play with my "little" sister, Rosemary Smith (Sams). God bless you all during this sad time, and may He give you comfort and peace.

Penny fought a hard fight that she couldn't have done without her loving mother and family. I formed a lasting friendship with her when we worked together at Wachovia Bank. Last time I saw her was at her Dad's funeral. I didn't see her often but knew she was there and will miss that feeling and being able to send cards. Rest in Peace sweet girl. My condolences to the whole family.

Deepest sympathy to Penny's family. We started kindergarten together at Douglass Elementary. She and I immediately became great friends and continued our friendship throughout our school years. Her smile, laugh, and contagious personality will always be close to my heart. Penny exhibited the most courage and truly was one of the strongest woman I have ever known. Much love to all of her family and friends.

i am so very sorry for her passing. Penny was so sweet and kind. She possessed a loving soul, and was greatly loved by many...especially her cousin Steve Horsley whom also left us way too soon. Penny will always be thought of with fond memories and her beautiful smile, and will be greatly missed. We all love you Penny...tell your Dad and cousin Steve that we sure have missed them so much. You keep them both in line now.... You know how those two loved to joke and pick at one another when they were together, Lol. RIP Beautiful Penny!!!💖
