Dear family, I met Wayne in 1992 as a new deputy sheriff. I enjoyed working with him. He was a friend to me and I tried to stay in touch after his move to Florida. I will miss him and give my deepest condolence.

Prayers for the family of Wayne 🙏🏻🙏🏻. My husband worked with Wayne at Rockingham County Sheriffs Dept. Wayne was a great and very knowledgeable dispatcher. I worked with his mom, Ann, at the Eden Merchants Assoc. (DMV/Credit Bureau) from 1978 to 1983. Wayne was a frequent visitor to see his mom and always gave us a good laugh. RIP Wayne....

Best wishes and prayers to Wayne’s remaining family. I’ll always remember the laughs and long talks. Wayne’s love, passion and knowledge of cars was rivaled by few, and surpassed by fewer. Rest well my friend. Till we drive again. David

My prayers go out to the family, he was a friend and my Radio Operator at the Sheriff's Department for a while and showed me some tricks that were able to be done with PIN (DCI) system.

Missing both Wayne and Gary, friends I met in the late 90s.  They took me in and took great care of me as I got on my feet.
