Novella Lewis Sullivan, 101, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 23, at Amazing Grace Baptist Church with burial to follow in Lawson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (10 - 11 AM) at the church.

Mrs. Sullivan was born May 19, 1918 in Clarksville, TN, to the late Walter Judson Lewis and Beulah Betty Lewis.  She will be remembered as a wonderful, sweet-spirited lady.

She is survived by her niece, Modena L. Price of Walnut Cove and three nephews, Judson "Wade" Carter of Raleigh, Lowell T. Lewis of Greensboro, and Phillip W. Lewis of Walnut Cove.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sullivan;  her sisters, Christine Powell and Elizabeth Carter;  and brother, Walter Lewis.
