I have great childhood memories of Aunt Alice's visit with gramma Octavia when they came out to Oregon to visit my dad, Jim (Melvin) Bowers. I was once again given wonderful memories coming up from Florida to the family reunion. Forever in my heart, aunt Alice. Give my dad my love in Heaven.

Our deepest sympathies are with Alice's family in the coming days. We have prayed for healing for Ann over the past few days, weeks, months and years as she battled health issues. Well now we know she is fully healed of any & all ailments. Healing doesn't always come as we see it but thankfully it always come for the believer!!! Marie & I had the great fortune to meet Alice through Darin some 22-23 years ago. It didn't take long to understand what an incredible woman Alice was. We have met thousands of people along this journey of life and can say without hesitation that Alice's love for her Savior was evident through the love she exhibited towards everyone she met. Marie & I spent over 6 years in the Eden area and every single time we were around Alice and her family they made us feel just like part of their family. We were always amazed at how kind & compassionate Alice always seemed to be. Can't say I ever felt anything other than pure love, compassion & kindness from her. We've literally met thousands of people along this journey of life and can honestly say that Alice was one of the best examples of how to love others that I've ever seen. She left an example for us to live by and she did it with grace and made it look effortless. Truly she has left an indelible mark on everyone she met, certainly on Marie & I. We will continue to pray that her family will experience sweet memories in the coming days and the peace and love of God embracing them. Thank you to her family for allowing us to share a little bit of her life and thank you for her legacy that will live on through her family. We love you guys!!!!
