Lena Joyce Wray, age 86 of 3841 Settle Bridge Road , Stoneville, passed away on Saturday evening February 16, 2019 at Brian Center Eden.  

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 23, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM)  in the chapel and other times at the residence.

Mrs. Wray was born December 16, 1932 in Rockingham County to the late Robert Snead Joyce and Martha Wilson Joyce.  She was a graduate of Stoneville High School Class of 1951. Lena was a  member of Stoneville Church of God and retired from Bassett- Walker Knitwear. She loved her family dearly and especially her grandchildren. 

Preceding her in death along with her parents were husband, Charles William Wray; sisters, Nancy Minor, Florence Joyce, Thelma Joyce and Mary Berry, brother, Pete Joyce and step-son, Michael Wray.

Surviving are daughter, Hope Wray Lewis and husband James; step-daughters, Sylvia Wray, Becky Wray and Ann Duckett; stepsons, Charles Wray and Chase Wray; brother Larry Joyce and wife Linda Lou; grandchildren, J.J. Lewis, Rose Lewis, Sam Lewis and wife Brandi; 6 step-grandchildren; nephew, Richard Taylor; nieces, Laura Bryant and husband Scott and Linda Ivy and husband Pat.
