Dear Burton and family, I was fortunate to get to know Nancy this last year and a half. Her sweet spirit touched my heart. She talk to me like she had known me all of my life and shared such sweet stories and memories of the times that she had with her family. I enjoyed the talks at the ball games and the dinners. But the sweetest moments we had werr on the Sunday afternoons when the guys went to the Panthers game and Nancy and I spent those days just the two of us. She reminisced about all the stories of her life and her family a shared them with me. The sweetest of all was when she told me of the letter that she wrote to you, Burton, and asked you to attend the dance at her school. Her eyes still sparkled and you could see the joy in her face just like it was yesterday. Burton you were the love of her life. What a beautiful lady. My prayers are with you and the family during this time. Debbie Alphin
