Obituary For William Craddock Harbour February 13, 1920 - March 19, 2013 In the cool midst of a late winter morning, William Craddock Harbour, (WC), 93, of Happy Home School Road in Ruffin, was delivered by an angel escort unto the bosom of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A funeral service will be will be held at 4PM Friday, March 22, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, N.C. Rev. Bruce McBride of Happy Home Congregational Christian Church will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA. WC was a devoted member of Happy Home Congregational Christian Church of Ruffin, N.C. He was born February 13, 1920 in Patrick County, VA, son of the late Rev. James and Victoria Conner Harbour. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Gracie Lawson Harbour and also their son, Glenwood Wayne Harbour. WC thereafter lived happily for 38 years with wife, Lizora Powell Harbour, who also preceded him in death in 2009. Mr. Harbour was an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII and a retired carpenter. He is survived by his son, David Lee Harbour of Archdale; stepdaughter, Nancy Denny of Danville, VA; brother, Edward Bain Harbour; sisters, Rachael Starling and Annie Young; six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
