Obituary For ronnie parrish

Philip Anderson Wilson left us to join his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January, 22, 2013 from his home at 125 Westfield Road., Eden.

A service celebrating his life will be held Saturday at 2 PM. at Dan River Wesleyan Church, Eden, NC.

Phil was born July 3, 1939 to Bryan and Alma Clark Wilson in Madison, NC. He began his singing career at the age of 6 at Osborne Baptist Church. During his teen years, he played and sang with his older brother Frank and The Tri-City Ramblers. He was part owner of the Sonoco station at the circle in Spray, NC. He also worked for the Blanket Division of Fieldcrest Mills.

Phil left Eden in 1969 with his family to pursue a 30 year career at General Motors in Michigan. During this time he continued to write and perform his music. He was the opening act for many of the great country music performers. He also had his own band

??جø¬??جø¬??ᬮ??جø¬?The Country Caravan??جø¬??جø¬??ᬮ?جø¬??جø¬?. Some of his songs he wrote and recorded were on the country charts. All through the years, he continued to bless people with his Christian music at church and in concerts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and mother of this children, Judith DeHart Wilson; sister, Lucille Moore; Brothers, Frank Wilson, Bryan Wilson, and James Clark.

Phil is survived by his wife, Bobbie Sue Wilson of the home; daughter, Laurie W. Smith (Barry) of Swartz Creek, MI; Sons, Andy Wilson (Kay) of Flint, MI. and Todd Wilson (Sheila) of Burton, MI; Step-children, Donna O??جø¬??جø¬??ᬮ?جø¬??묢Dell Bunch (Bill ) of Chapel Hill, NC; Lou Ann O. Lewis (Barry) of Pinehurst, NC; Bev O??جø¬??جø¬??ᬮ?جø¬??묢Dell (Debbie) of Eden, NC; 16 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Sisters, Jane Ferguson of Eden, NC and Katherine Ball of Pensacola, FL; Brothers, Shelby Wilson (Cheryl) of Tampa, FL and Ronnie Horsley (Patsy) of Eden. Visitation will be held at Fair Funeral Home on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and at other times at his home.
