Obituary For Ruby "Nanny" Curry Wilson Ruby "Nanny" Curry Wilson, 91 a golden heart, our loss, Heavens gain, passed away Friday evening March 19, 2010 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was born May 12, 1918 in Rockingham County to the late Ramey and Ethel Eaton Curry. She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul Bringle Wilson and one son; Albert Wilson. Surviving is daughters; Everline Scearce and husband Cleveland, Cathy Mabe , and Inez Odell, sons; James Wilson and wife Mary Jane, Raymond Wilson all of Eden, Marvin Wilson of Missouri, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 4 great grand children. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of the South and North Hall of Morehead Nursing Center. Family will receive friends 7 - 9 p.m. on Sunday evening at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter; Cathy Mabe, 200 Sunset Drive, Eden.
