David was born October 27, 1948 in Wilmington, NC to the late Carl and Evelyn Fain Overby. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. David was the owner of Super Frog Productions in the entertainment business at North Myrtle Beach, SC. He is survived by daughters, Katrina Lee Phillips and husband Rocky of Loris, SC, Chrissy Miller and husband Chris of Lois, SC; son, John Overby and wife Jessica of Loris, SC; aunt, Margaret Fain of Eden, NC ; cousin, whom he loved as his brother, Ronnie Overby and wife Mea of Eden; ex-wife, Ernestine Gates of Arkansas; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
