James Howard ‚àö¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚âà?¨Jim‚àö¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ¬¨?? Walker, 72, of 1000 Smith Lake Road, Martinsville, VA died Friday, September 21, 2012 at his home. Born on April 4, 1940 in Ridgeway, he was a son of the late Louis Webb Walker and Lottie Gray Odell Walker. Mr. Walker was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Martinsville and was retired from McDonalds, Inc. as Director of Operations in Winston-Salem, NC.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Patricia ‚àö¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚âà?¨Pat‚àö¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ¬¨?? Lynch Walker; sons, William Walker and wife Teresa of Mayodan, NC and James H. ‚àö¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ‚âà?¨Jamie‚àö¬¢‚Äö?ᬮ¬¨?? Walker, Jr. of Martinsville; step-son, Jesse D. Adams of Martinsville; sisters, Betty Walker Mabe of Eden, NC and Joy Walker Cooper of South Carolina; brothers, Louis Walker of Ridgeway, Jerry Walker, Arthur Walker and David Walker all of Eden, NC; grandchildren, Justin Walker of Eden, NC and Heather Walker of Mayodan, NC and great-grandson, Skylar Walker of Eden NC.

A Memorial Service will be conducted from Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Martinsville on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Steven Greer and Reverend Billy Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends at the church after the service.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Wake Forest University Medical Center Cancer Center, Medical Center Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
