Obituary For Ruby Caroleen O'Dell August 16, 1949 - July 4, 2012 Ruby Caroleen O'Dell, 62, formerly of 3174 Hwy 14, Reidsville, NC, entered her eternal home in Heaven Wednesday July 4, 2012 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth NC. The funeral service will be 4pm Saturday July 7 at Rock Of Ages Baptist Church in Reidsville, NC with Pastor Doug Bray, Preacher Jack Land, and Preacher Don Collins officiating. Burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery in Eden, NC. Fair Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ruby O'Dell was born to the late Raymond Dandridge O'Dell and Swannie Grogan O'Dell August 16, 1949 in Ridgeway, VA. She was a member of Rock Of Ages Baptist Church in Reidsville, NC. Surviving are her sisters Seretta O. Waller and husband Ken of Ridgeway,VA, and Mary O. Austin and husband A.C. of Reidsville, NC, two sisters - in - law, Dorothy O'Dell and Nancy O'Dell both of Eden, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Alvin T. O'Dell, Elkin W. O'Dell, George Norman "Bunk" O'Dell and Raymond D. O'Dell, Jr., and one sister Sarah O. Thacker. Visitation will be 7 until 9pm Friday evening July 6, at Rock Of Ages Baptist Church. Family and friends are also welcome to come and visit informerly Thursday evening July 5, and Friday afternoon prior to the formal visitation.
