Obituary For William "Bill" Wyatt Meadows September 17, 1929 - May 2, 2012 William "Bill" Wyatt Meadows, 82, formerly of Roberts Road in Eden, passed away Wednesday morning, May 2, 2012 at Brian Center of Eden. A funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Friday, May 4, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Meadows was born September 17, 1929 in Rockingham County, son of the late Posey and Carrie Meeks Meadows. He was a member of El Bethel Presbyterian Church and a retiree of Corning. Bill was preceded in death along with his parents; 7 sisters, Thelma Meadows, Ruby Thomas, Maeoma Williams, Hazel Holland, Lillie Oakley, Reba Meadows and Nancy Caudle; 3 bothers, Posey Meadows, Luther Gladstone Meadows and Jack Meadows. He is survived by one sister, Oneva Kernodle of Reidsville; nieces, Judith H. Martin and Joan W. Purdy; and nephews, Howard Douglas Williams and Posey Meadows, Jr. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday (3 - 4 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Judy Martin, 106 Corn Tassel Trail in Stoneville.
