Obituary For James Frederick Washburn November 10, 1925 - April 1, 2012 James Frederick Washburn, age 86 passed away on Sunday morning April 1, 2012 at his home, 134 Floyd Road, Eden. A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday April 4th at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens with the visitation to be held at the cemetery from 10 til 11 am. prior to the service. James was born November 10, 1925 in Rockingham County. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. James was retired from General Electric as a truck driver and was a member of North Side Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, Edgar and Clara DeHart Washburn; wife, Doris W. Washburn; brothers,John, Willis Talmadge,Curtis, Billy and Robert Washburn; sisters, Rivers Washburn, Annie Mae Washburn, Eloys DeHart and Lorene McBride. Surviving are daughters, Brenda G. Smith and husband Thomas of Eden, Pamela G. Patterson and husband James; grandchildren, Brad Smith and wife Stephanie of Eden, Mark Patterson and wife Angela of Greensboro, Teresa Leake and husband Bobby of Eden; great grandchildren, Hunter, Kennedy, Caroline, Brittany and Callie.
