Obituary For Ethel Chilton Corns Ethel Chilton Corns, 89 formerly of Eden, but more recently of 353 Ferdinand Circle in Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the home of her daughter. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 10, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Corns was born January 31, 1922 in Rockingham County, daughter of the late Cullin Bryant Chilton and Louvie Belton Chilton. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her four children, Linda Corns of Virginia Beach, VA, James Bryant Axsom of Haines, Alaska, Michael Ray Axsom of Greensboro, and Roger Dale Axsom of Stoneville; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
